My Jess is Out-for-Delivery now and I am hoping that I don't think she is bucktoothed. She looks bucktooth in some of the pictures and not in others.
I posted the above earlier and when UPS finallly came I took her out and changed her clothes played with her and put her back in the box in the closet because she is in hiding until Valentines. Well, about 30 minutes later I thought "Her Teeth"...I had to go back to the closet and pull her out and look. LOL I guess they couldn't have been too bad since I didn't even notice!! Her teeth look great they don't stick out all!
Well I think she looks Great! She has a very soft pink to her cheeks and a beautiful creamy skin that just makes you see the asian in her. All of her clothes looked great and were well made! The only thing I didn't even look at was the kayak...but thats another story!!!!
I was disappointed my Tree didn't really come in a box other than the foam and shipping box. I guess once it comes out of the box thats it. I like my boxes... I'm one of those people who would pay $20 for a box on E-bay!!!
I love JESS...don't sell her short till you see her in person!

Change her outfit. It took me a while to bond with Marisol. I had to loose the pigtails and the outfit before we were on speaking terms. Now as for bonding with AG21 we just haven't had the time yet to bond so getting Jess is a ways in the future.

I'm starting to get a little so-so about Jess myself. The first time I saw Marisol I remember gasping aloud and rushing to order her immediatly. Even now I still think she's very beautiful. I'm starting to consider putting off getting Jess until my birthday, to give me more time to see other people's pictures and hear what they think of her. I do see where the bucktoothed comment could come from...and her face shape seems a little off to me. We'll see how it looks after I see more member pics of her!

Thanks everyone!
I did change her clothes last night...right away. I just got back from shopping, and stopped at Build-A-Bear, and got a cute skirt and jacket that I think will fit her. I'm going to put those on her soon.
I think I might have AG send me another one. That way, I can compare, and send back whichever one I don't want.
Laurie...I got a Marisol from the first batch, and she was perfect. In fact...she could be my prettiest doll.

I'm so sorry that some of you aren't connecting with Jess. I'm still kind of considering whether I want her or not. I said that Marisol was going to be my last LE, and the fact is that I haven't bonded with her as much as with Lindsey! So maybe by the summer I'll know if I want Jess or not. Meanwhile, I'll just keep looking at the catalogue.
For you guys who have her and are disappointed, hang on to her for awhile. You may change your mind, but you can always return her later if you don't. Or sell her on ebay. And I'm sure those nice PS ladies would gladly pick out a Jess for you!

I just unpacked my Jess a couple of hours ago! I was getting pretty apprehensive after reading here, but I loved her instantly and we have now bonded permanently! Mine has nice skin tone - I held her up beside my Kit, and to me, they look the same color. Her cheeks and lips are soft rose and very natural looking, I think. Mine has hair that is deep brown with a burgundy cast, I absolutely love it (as mine is much the same color!) Her braids were cute right out of the box and she seems to have an exceptionally thick wig. I was afraid her hair would be too short to do anything with, but it's just right. I didn't expect to like her outfit, and I didn't...on her...because I have a fixation about the cloth body showing. But, in person the outfit itself is cute and well made. The embroidery is quite detailed, and there is a tan colored underskirt sewn under the pleated skirt. This skirt is neither skimpy nor made of poor quality fabric as some of the other AG outfits I've bought recently. I will just put it on one of my Gotz or ALOF dolls with a full vinyl body. The flip flop sandals are darling, I am in love with those also! I ordered her accessories but not any of her other outfits. The accessories are cute and well made, other than the rather cheesy map of Belize. I have already changed Jess into the unitard and shrug from the new 2-in-1 skating outfit. She looks absolutely adorable in it! The outfit(s) are very cute, well made, and the skates are the cutest I've ever seen! I think I need the Coconut skating accessories now! My Jess's head is on straight, she stands well, and I am thrilled with her. I have only Kit, Marisol and Jess, and I chose those 3 as they have three different face molds and different coloring. I didn't care for Marisol at first, but it was mostly her awful outfit. In other clothes, I have come to really appreciate her. I put a lot of thought into my dolly aquisitions, I guess I am pretty choosy. Jess is a definite keeper for me! Lin
